Alba Lingua welcomes your visit to our website as well as your interest in our services. The protection of your privacy in the processing of personal data as well as the security of all business data is a key concern that we consider in our business activities. In addition, we believe it is important for you to know at all times when we store what data and how we use it.
- Processing and collection of personal data. In particular, the protection of personal data such as name, address, telephone number or e-mail address and the responsible handling of the information you entrust to us is important to us. This includes the data that comes in the background in the Internet use. We process personal information collected when you visit our website in accordance with the data protection laws of the country in which the data controller is located.
- Data security. We assure that we do not pass on your personal data to third parties, unless we are legally obliged to do so or you have given us your prior consent. Insofar as we use service providers to carry out and process processing, the contractual relationships are governed by the provisions of the Federal Data Protection Act.
- Google Analytics. This website uses Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc. (“Google”). Google Analytics uses so-called “cookies”, text files that are stored on your computer and that allow an analysis of the use of the website by you. The information generated by the cookie about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
- Use of Google Maps. We use Google Maps to visually represent geographic information. When using Google Maps, Google also collects, processes and uses data about the use of the Maps features. For more information about data processing by Google can be found here: Privacy Policy Google. In the privacy centre, the settings can be changed. By using our service, you consent to the collection, processing, and use of the automated data collected by Google Inc, its agents, and third parties. You can find the terms of use of Google Maps under “Terms of Use of Google Maps”.
- Log files. Every time you access this homepage, server log files are automatically saved. Essentially, the IP address, date and time currently used by your PC, the browser type and the operating system of your PC, as well as the pages you are viewing, are recorded. A personal reference is usually not possible and not intended. The log data is only used for statistical evaluations for the purpose of operation, security and optimization of the offer. In addition, these log data are evaluated if there is a legitimate suspicion of unlawful use or the website has been disturbed or tampered with.
- Contact. If you send us a message, the Alba Institute will use the contact details provided to answer and process your request. The provision of your data is dependent on your concerns and your position as an interested party or course participant to carry out pre-contractual measures or to fulfil the contract.
- Storage duration and deletion. After the contract has been processed, your data will be deleted, unless there are statutory storage requirements. In this case, these data are kept for up to 10 years. Your data will be blocked for any other use except where permitted by post. Sharing bank data will be deleted after revocation of the direct debit authorization, successful payment of the course fee or in case of a permanent direct debit mandate 36 months after last use. Your data provided by us when using our contact data will be deleted as soon as the communication has ended or your request has been completely clarified and this data has not been collected for contractual purposes. Communication for the assertion of legal claims is stored for the duration of the respective limitation period.
- Information about your rights. If you no longer agree with the storage of your personal data or have become inaccurate, we will initiate the deletion or blocking of your data or make the necessary corrections (as far as this is possible under applicable law) upon an appropriate instruction.
